Unsere Firmenweihnachtsfeier / Our official Christmas Party at the institut

Am 6. Dezember 2004 hatten wir unsere offizielle Firmenweihnachtsfeier, zu der zahlreiche Gäste geladen waren. Besonders die Praktikanten waren aufgefordert (mal wieder!) hierbei tatkräftig mitzuwirken. Dafür wurden wir aber auch den ganzen Abend mit gutem Essen und Getränken entschädigt. Seltsamerweise sind dann nach Feierabend einige der übrig gebliebenen Weinflaschen verschwunden - außerdem war an diesem Abend, als ich mich dann auf den Heimweg machte, mein Rucksack besonders schwer :-)

On December 6th, 2004, we had our official Christmas Party at the Goethe Institut. Especially the interns were "kindly asked" (or in other words: expected) to help with the preparations and the catering and the cleaning up. Anyway, it was a nice evening ´cause there was plenty of good food and drink. Some of us, we interns especially (again) had to work some overtime on this day but it was worth the effort because, after all, the delicious food we enjoyed was for free. There were also some bottles of wine left at the end of the party - why was my bag so damn heavy when I walked home on that day :-) ?
